I filed a complaint with the medical board in California, after this Dr. Graves performed surgery on my brother for a tumor on his pancreas.

Graves snookered my brother into having this surgery, by telling him the tumor was benign, and small enough that surgery would be a piece of cake. When he opened my brother up, the tumor was 4 times the size, an malignant. He took out his pancreas anyways, along with a perfectly good spleen. A doctor with compassion, would have just closed him up without butchering the rest of the pancreas, an tell him to live out the rest of his life the best he could.

Instead my brother developed a pancreatic leak, along with infection, and ended up in ICU for 6 months, while intubated the whole time with tube feeding. 8 drain tubes emitting from his body. Eventually, he died from starvation. Lawyers will not touch a 62 y.

o. patient without defendants or patient having a lot of money. Politicians in California passed a law protecting doctors from lawsuits, therefore, they can experiment on any patient they want without consequences, and make a lot of money in the process.

My complaint went nowhere with the medical board, as they appear to be good friends with the politicians, and hands in each others pocket. May the lord damn them all.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

They have no right to force MDs go dump patients & threaten their license to practice. I mad.

Images. There will be a revolution. There is no "opiate crisis". The Silk Road was"normal.

The Boston Tea Paety was NOT about TEA! I'm 67, and I want my medications back. And I will medicate myself if I have to grow it and lab it myself. Don't push me.

Already a class action suite over this cr*p. I don't use alcohol. But Prohibition is what you think will work on Opiates and benzos. Do any of you think we cannot grow poppies?

Flowers? Do you? You heard it from me first. Spell my name correctly, witchesโ€ฆ Susan P.

Darnell. I have furthermore, stopped my personal "businesses" and will live on after death to right your wrongs. Forever.

Amen Onward Soldiers. Land of the Free & the Home of the Brave.

Dear Sir, I want to assure you that the medical board of California does not care about the individual doctors, their concern is not to protect individual doctors, neither do they care about individual patients. The medical board of California is a government agency and because it is a part of the government naturally it is corrupt.

The medical board is a political institution and protects friends of the government of California. Doctors have absolutely no power in the government because doctors do not represent a voting block, they do not vote as a group neither do they have a union or organization to collect and donate money to the government officials. Because the doctors do not vote as a block and give no money to the government officials and candidates doctors have no value for the government and therefore they are not worth protecting. The medical board acts on behalf of the government of California and protects the hospitals, the malpractice insurance companies who provide liability insurance for the doctors and hospitals and the law firms who are contracted and provide service for the hospitals and the insurance companies, because these enteties have the record of giving money.

The insurance companies, the hospital owners and the California hospital association and the lawyers have donated millions of dollars to all officials who have influence in the medical board to buy protection for themselves not for doctors. Many lawyers who used to work for the medical board join these law firms who are contracted with the hospitals and the malpractice insurance companies and use their influence in the medical board to benefit the hospitals and the malpractice companies. I am very sorry for your loss. But your loss occured in a hospital and the hospital has a lot of influence to get protection.

Naturally the hospital lawyers and the doctorโ€™s insurance company could not start pointing finger at each other. Therefore since they had to protect the hospital the doctor also had to be protected. To show that the doctor did something wrong the hospital naturally becomes liable and the hospitals will never allow that. I plan to start a web site about how people are suffering in these hospitals and if you are interested to tell your story on my web site please E.

Mail me at k562562@***.com. I am sorry about how you suffered.

I'm sorry to hear you've gone through this. Both my mom and disabled sister died of medical errors.

I had trouble with MICRA getting a lawyer in my sister's case, but finally did and then was strongarmed into settling. I filed a complaint with the Medical Board and they closed it without even getting a certified copy of her medical records from the hospital or a copy of the private autopsy I had done. When I complained, they pretended to re-open the complaint and then just closed it again a few weeks later. Ever since then, another patient safety advocate and I have been investigating the medical board and holding them accountable for their actions.

Please contact me as I'd like to have your story in our arsenal. We have a website at 4patientsafety.org and you can email me at stopmicra@***.com
